OBEY, EVEN IF YOU DON’T AGREE

I had an eye-opening, Spirit-warming service in my native Newtown community in Sarasota. I was guest speaker for the 64th Anniversary of a local church. I’m still processing what occurred. Their theme: “Obey, Even If You Don’t Agree” Luke 5:5. Fascinating!

The crowd pressed to hear the words of Jesus. Jesus did an unscheduled meeting. He was near two empty boats. The owners had just washed their nets. Jesus asked Simon Peter to make an unscheduled trip into deeper water to catch fish. Peter explained the facts to JESUS. OH, WE HAVE TOILED ALL NIGHT and CAUGHT NOTHING. BUT, at your word, WE WILL MAKE THIS TRIP. OBEY, even if you don’t agree. HELP RIGHT NOW, WHERE YOU CAN. THE POWER IS IN YOUR HANDS.

THE RESULTS COME FROM YOUR HANDS. We all get a net-breaking, boat-sinking Blessing! OBEY, EVEN IF YOU DON’T AGREE. The essence of that message is: YOUR HANDS HAVE POWER. YOU CAN DO IT. TRY USING FAITH TODAY — NOW FAITH.

God gave me insight into a group of people. He said, “You’re great; BUT, you don’t see yourself that way.” Moses didn’t SEE HIMSELF as great. GIDEON didn’t SEE HIMSELF as great. David didn’t SEE HIMSELF as great after INSPIRING his people to raise more than enough money and materials to build the great temple in Israel. It’s good to be humble, but to underestimate yourself because you want to feel humble is not truth. His truth makes you free.

As a matter of fact, some people keep trapping themselves by their old ways and former ideas. Because of some previous experience, some are fearful to engage other people, or to visit. You ACT LIKE you are bold and engaging; but, you tend to bend another way when challenged to perform. YOU CAN ONLY DO THAT FOR SO LONG. Then those people’s interest weans off.

I can’t go “back and forth” with YOU, if you don’t believe me. I can’t explain everything. Listen to this: you are in a present situation. You need to cross a sea. You don’t have the time to go to school to learn how to build a bridge. You don’t have the time to gather materials, money, personnel to build the bridge. You don’t have the TIME it takes to COMPLETE THE PROJECT OF BUILDING A BRIDGE. In addition to those, people’s minds will change. Some become discouraged, afraid and weak.

BUT, there are more ways than one way to skin a cat. BY FAITH. THE SUPERNATURAL WILL HAPPEN BY BELIEVING GOD. God said, “STRETCH OUT YOUR ROD TOWARD THE WATER.” They had a BRIDGE: an intermediate route between two adjacent elements. BY FAITH GOD GAVE THEM A DRY HIGHWAY THROUGH THE SEA.

OBEY, EVEN IF YOU DON’T AGREE. The essence of that message is: YOUR HANDS HAVE POWER. YOU CAN DO IT.

Please hear me: PRAY FOR THE RELEASE. AND BY FAITH WE WILL INCREASE. LET US PRAY THERE WILL BE RELEASE.
